Dublin San Ramon Services District

Company Overview

The people of Dublin San Ramon Services District (DSRSD) plan, design, build, operate, maintain, and secure the community’s water and wastewater systems—vital public assets valued at more than $382 million. Their skills and motivation directly affect multiple generations of DSRSD customers and the quality of life in our community. Like other public utilities, the District is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to protect public health and the environment.

Company History

Founded in 1953, DSRSD serves more than 188,000 people:

• DSRSD distributes drinking water for approximately 89,200 people, in Dublin since March 1961 and in Dougherty Valley since May 2000.
• DSRSD provides wastewater collection and treatment for approximately 163,400 people in Dublin and southern San Ramon since March 1961, and wastewater treatment for Pleasanton (by contract) since September 1965.
• DSRSD has produced recycled water for landscape irrigation and construction since 1999. In 2006, DSRSD and East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) formed the San Ramon Valley Recycled Water Program (SRVRWP).
